A good family home child care can be a great alternative to center care. Home childcare often appeals to parents who want their child in a warm loving home environment. It is comforting and reassuring to kids and they usually have smaller numbers of children than most centers. Your child has all the comforts of a home, only with other children to play and socialize with. Kids have a consistent caregiver and other consistent people in their environment. Your children are exposed to fewer illnesses due to lower child numbers and more sanitized and consistent cleaning. A good home daycare is one you feel comfortable leaving your child in. One where you are encouraged to visit unannounced anytime and feel comfortable roaming around any part of the home that is common area to the children. All areas of the home should be safe and appropriately childproofed. In-home caregivers often become an extended part of your family and an important person in your child's life.

I really like mine, Dr. Roos at Crown Point Pediatrics. Located in Parker near E-470 and Parker Rd right next to Parker Adventist Hospital which has a Childrens Hospital branch inside.
I take 2 weeks vacation per year, and get 4 personal days. You are given at least 2 weeks notice before a personal day and several months notice before vacations. I always take 2 weeks of that vacation time at the end of December for the holidays while schools are closed. The 3rd week I take during the summer sometime. I always give several months notice before I take the week off. Personal days I try to give you two weeks notice. I try not to take sick days unless I am desperately ill.
Misc Closure:
We are closed on all Cherry Creek School Holidays including the week that falls between Christmas Eve and New Years Day. These include but are not limited to Memorial day, Labor day and 4th of July. I count the 2 weeks at Christmas as 2 of my vacation weeks.
Snow Closures:
If Cherry Creek Schools close for snow, so do I, we do not want you to risk your child's safety
